Teaching at Oxford began around 1096. The Aztec capital Tenochtitlán wasn't founded until 1325. So yes — people were literally sitting in Oxford lectures more than 200 years before the Aztec Empire existed. History timelines are wild.

A quick honest note: a web app can live on your Home Screen (see above), but it can't create a live iPhone widget. A true widget — the kind that updates on your Home Screen by itself — needs a native iOS app built with WidgetKit. That's on the roadmap.
